This year feels very weird. I remember a time when it was a big to do to celebrate Black History Month. I don't see all the creative ways to celebrate the month like I normally do. I want to be sure that my family takes the time to celebrate and remember all the great things about our ancestors. So our family intends to:
Read books to our son about his ancestors
Share pictures with him
Take him to a museum
Any other ideas?
It is important to do what we can as a family to know our history.
Happy Black History Month!
